August 23rd- Scaredy Cat Mini Album

I would LOVE to have you join in the fun!!!

I will be teaching this mini album on August 23rd, using the Close to My Heart
Scaredy Cat' paper collection.
Isn't it just the cutest thing?!

I am not big into Halloween. BUT, I just love this paper collection!!!

Of course, you do not have to decorate as I did. You can fit up to THREE 3.5"x 5" photos, TWO 2.5"x 3.5" photos, as well as smaller ones and still have plenty of room for journaling your memories.

 It just keeps expanding!!!

Just think of what you could with this as a Christmas album? Which I will be making plenty of :-)

I plan on making this album again, trying to get a different look. Wish me Luck!!!

If you are local, I would LOVE to have you join this workshop. Don't forget about my card classes. We always have a lot of fun!!!

Until Next Time,
 As Always!!!

Happy Crafting~

August 2nd Card Class

So, I love my card classes. There is nothing better than sharing fun techniques with
those who enjoy my love of the paper crafts.

I wanted to get this post out earlier this week, but I just have not had the time. I am constantly hunting techniques and designing cards for my classes. I joined a consultant blog hop to share art and products from CTMH's new catalog, and I joined a consultant swap. Somehow, I managed to finish everything up tonight.

But, now that I have all of that behind me.. I can focus on my upcoming classes and, finally, share with you the cards we made last weekend. I really hope that you enjoy them. They were a lot of fun.. Even if one of them was a tad time consuming...

I forgot to add this Braided card to the group picture. Isn't it just the cutest? I actually, plan to work on a post this weekend that gives a detailed tutorial on creating this card. It is a such a unique card and so much easier than it looks.

You will see that a few of my cards for this class use the same paper collection,
It is such a fun and cheerful collection, I just could not put it down.

This rosette card is inspired by another CTMH consultant, Marie Farson. In fact, I loved her card so much. This is almost an exact replica. Again, this used the 'Confetti Wishes' paper collection, canary card stock, thistle card stock, thistle chevron ribbon.

In case I have not shared this before.. I absolutely ADORE OWLS!!!! This cute little guy is from the August Stamp of the Month, 'What a Hoot'. I have quite a few cards in mind with this stamp set.
Isn't this set adorable?

He is only available this month and then he is GONE!!!

Be sure to check back often, as I will be using him again :-)

These next two cards we a bunch of fun. The File Folder card, I used the Envelope Punch Board. You can find this tool at Hobby Lobby. I used the store coupon and got it at a fantastic price and free shipping.

The other card.. Yes, I used 'Confetti Wishes' again :-) I am sorry, I could not help myself!!!
This card card is a variation of a tri fold card. This one has a pocket in it, and the blue flower actually is a closure for the card.

As with the Braided card, I plan to post a step by step tutorial to make both of these cards and I hope that you will check back.

As always, I enjoy sharing my love of paper and ink and hope that you will return, share my blog with your friends, and visit my facebook page. As soon as my facebook page reaches 200 'LIKES', I will be running another giveaway!!! So, share and 'LIKE' away!!!

AND.. If you are local to me, San Antonio, TEXAS... Please, feel free to contact me and join in on one of my classes and/or workshops. I try to have something every two weeks. I would love to see you there!!!

Until next time,

Happy Crafting!!!

And don't forget to share my blog and facebook page!!

New Product Blog Hop- Second Entry

Whew!!! I mean to get this post out earlier. But, It has been a busy week.

Here is my second entry for the 2014-2015 New Product Blog Hop.

The first, is a card I have loved for a very LONG time... Gift cards have really made a huge impact in recent years. Finding to right way to give them as a gift has just gotten CUTER!!!!

I really think that 'Snowhaven' is gorgeous collection and worked well with this card.

I just love this gift card holder. Just think of all the holidays, graduations, birthdays that you can use this for.

Next, is a 3x3 card. Again, I used the 'Snowhaven' paper collection.
Nothing like a little card for the gift bag.

I hope you have fun hoping through all of the other consultants participating in this swap. There is so much inspiration and I can't wait to try my hand at some of the art shared.

Until next time, as always!

Happy Crafting~

2014-2015 New Product Blog Hop

I am so excited to be participating in a Blog Hop again. It has been quite a few years since my last. So, YOU are in for a REAL treat!!!!

So many talented consultant will be sharing the artwork and I just know you are going to get the crafting juices flowing with all the inspiration you'll find throughout this hop.

So, in celebration of the new 2014-2015 CTMH Annual inspiration, I hope that you will enjoy my entries for this hop. But, do not just drop by today.. as I will be submitting a few entries for this hop over the next week. This hop will run from August 1-7.

My first card is after my favorite time of year.. CHRISTMAS. Made with the Snowhaven paper collection, I really think it captures the 'Christmas Cheer'.. Actually, it reminds me of winter sweaters on a ski slope.

I used the stamp set from the 'Snowhaven' Workshop on the Go cardmaking kit, the Silver Shimmer Trim, Cranberry Exclusive Inks,Cranberry cardstock, Black cardstock, and Whisper cardstock.
I do not know about you, but I love how the shimmer trim really makes the card pop.
My next card is, again, Christmas themed using the Snowhaven collection. But, it has a completely different look. I love how versatile all of Close to My Heart's paper collections are.
This card is a bit simpler. But, again I love how the shimmer trim gives that added bling to the card. Simple and festive.
The only added items for this card, include the shimmer trim in Red, I used the CTMH Scallop Punch, Sparkle Clear flourishes-small, and Glacier cardstock.
I just love both of these cards and am just getting started with the holiday fun. I hope you come back to seem more of the artwork I will be sharing over the next week. Don't forget to follow the link below to continue on the Hop.
You'll be glad you did!!!
As Always, until next time~

Happy Crafting!!!
